oh yes, that's right, Zoey can climb the stairs!
in fact, daddy put the gate back up today (we had taken
it down a few months ago, when we no longer needed it for Liam) ...
she had been making attempts since our return home
(from our trip to Oregon last month) and had even made it up
the first step, but this weekend she made real
progress ... she made it all the way to the "landing" -
no worries, one of us was always right there
behind her for safety! the point is, she could make it
all the way up ... which means, she could fall
all the way down, so the gate is in place!
something else she's been working on since we got home:
cruising!!!!!
she's not really cruising yet, but she has taken
a step or two while holding/leaning on the couch so we
definitely see some progress! she also likes to let
go and stand for a second as she falls back
to plop on her bottom! it's sort of cute!
and ... she's also eating more! some days it's still
such a small amount, but if we leave her
in her high chair and keep at it, she'll often eat
anywhere from half to a full amount of
what I would consider a "normal" meal for her age!
so, on a typical day - I'd say she eats about
as much as 1 to 2 "normal size" meals
(over the course of her three meals/snack)
